Frozen Margarita
This quality recipe for a frozen margarita has taken me a long time to find. Most recipes are either too sweet, too watered down, or the tequila doesn’t shine in the frozen margarita form. Using Ocho Plata and lime zest, this is the perfect frozen margarita.
“Smoke & Choke” Negroni
This mezcal and cynar Negroni riff is an interesting and delicious one for those who have not tried Cynar. This drink name seems a bit misleading because it does not necessarily taste like a Negroni, but it follows the same even 1oz ratios of a Negroni.
White Lady
The White Lady is a classic gin drink developed in London circa 1920s. This flip includes London dry gin, cointreau, lemon, simple syrup and an egg white to give the top of the drink its signature foam.
The Poutini
This is our house martini… The Poutini. The Poutini is a bright, zesty martini with a savory twist by infusing olive oil into the vodka. The olive oil we use in this infusion is a perfect pairing with our savory poutine.
Whiskey Sour
The whiskey sour is a classic that most have tried, and fairly easy to attempt at home. Try this cocktail featuring bourbon, lemon, simple syrup and egg whites to impress your guests.
Elote Old Fashioned
When the “Licor de Elote” came to market, it intrigued many a cocktail enthusiast with its silky corn and umami flavors. Accenting the seasoned corn flavor in a cocktail is new grounds to be explored. I believe that this recipe is the best application of the unusual and amazing liquor. No surprise, it was released by the manufacturer itself… Nixta.
Lillywhacker
This might be my favorite Phil Ward recipe. This is also the recipe that sparked my love for apple brandy. This apple brandy, orange liquor, red vermouth cocktail has a subtle chocolate note that wins over everyone who tries it.
Brown Derby
The Brown Derby is a classic cocktail that uses fresh grapefruit juice and honey simple syrup as its sweetener. This refreshing drink is always a hit for grapefruit fans.
Pecan Old Fashioned
Pecan infused bourbon is an old tradition and a fantastic base for this old fashioned style cocktail. The pecan infusion takes 5-7 days to make, but it is well worth the wait.
Olive Oil Infused Vodka
Infusing vodka with olive oil is a great way to add texture, depth of flavor, and introduce a savory flavor into your vodka drinks.
Pecan Infused Bourbon
Infusing bourbon with nuts dates back to the ancient ages. This is a fairly simple process that takes planning and patience before enjoying this delicious infusion. This recipe involves toasting pecans, and letting them sit in bourbon for 7 days.
